Stacie Goldstein, LCSW, clinical social worker in private practice and stay-at-home mom

For years Stacie has been trying to combine her two jobs, as a stay-at-home mom with her 2 children, ages 4 and 1, and as a clinical social worker in private practice.  After countless conversations with other stay at home moms she discovered that one of the biggest issues for many is finding a social network where they feel connected, understood and appreciated.  Stacie wanted to find a way to remove the stress of making new friends during a time when many moms feel the most vulnerable and isolated.

Parenting with Girlfriends takes the stress out of finding new friends by matching moms with similar concerns, from similar locations with children of similar ages.  Instead of being bombarded with information, lectures and guest speakers, Stacie has created a forum where moms are the focus and establishing new friendships is the goal.

Stacie wanted the experience to be as fun , relaxed and as casual as possible while making moms feel pampered and special.  She decided a tea party would be the perfect way for moms to come together, have a nice relaxing cup of tea, a snack and good conversation.  Children are always welcome at Parenting with Girlfriends and toys and activities are provided to keep them busy while mom focuses on herself!

Stacie has been a clinical social worker for the last 12 years and specializes in parenting issues.
